Beijing Stay details

Hello all,

Well, half of our travel arrangements are made. The agency is beginning to really infuriate me with the time it is taking this to be done. We are leaving a week from Monday and we just got our first hotel arrangements made. I don't really want to go into the trials and tribulations of our travel arrangements here, but let me just say it could have been handled a LOT better.

We will be at the Novotel Xin Qiao Beijing from October 25 - 30 and then going onto Lanzhou to pick up Katie-Beth. Still no word on where we will be staying in Lanzhou. The Novotel hotel is not one of the snazziest, but it is four star and right next to Tianamen Square and the Forbidden City. Mike and I have decided to forgo any arranged tours and be brave and just follow Fodors 3 day sightseeing tips. Wish us luck! :-)

I am inserting a photo of Greta here just to test out our new camera and to see if I can just load pictures directly without messing with them any. Ta-da! (Isn't she a cutie? Boy is her world about to change!)
